On April 17th the transit center was completed. “The new Transit Center makes it convenient to reach educational opportunities at Reedley College and the Vocational Training Center, to go to medical appointments, work or shopping,” according to Blanca Beltran, Dinuba’s Public Works Director. It will improve downtown and aesthetics in the area as well. The center offers the following services: Transit Service, 1st time homebuyer program, housing rehabilitation program accepting utility payments, Cooling Center, Free Wi-Fi, & Park and Ride. The project had a price tag of $1.5 million funded by a combination of California Transportation Development Act and Proposition 1C funds.
