Biking is heart healthy, don’t forget to wear your helmet! TCAG gave away 60 helmets donated to us from Paramount Farms, Jeff Barnes Brain Injury Foundation (http://www.jbarnesfoundation.org/) and other charities. We reached out to approximately 150 kids and parents at Goshen Elementary and 350 people with informational handouts during the Porterville Fair. Download the “Tulare County Biking” app on the Google Play store today, and visit www.bikeandstride.org for more information.
TCAG reached out to local elementary school Ivanhoe Elementary and it was a great success, reminding kids and parents that biking is awesome for your heart and for the environment, providing tips on how to be safe and smart on the road.
TCAG reached out to a local school in Visalia, Washington Elementary, with bike and active transportation (walking, skateboarding, etc) reach out, reminding kids why biking is awesome and how to be safe. More to come in the schedule below.
