TCAG has released an update to the South State Route 99 Corridor Study. The purpose of this study was to assess current (2015) and future (2040) operating conditions for 30 major intersections along State Route 99 (SR 99) between the City of Tulare and the south county line for existing and future intersection delay and levels of service (LOS). The study is part of a long-term monitoring plan by TCAG to determine where Measure R funds, in partnership with State funds, could be applied to improve overall levels of service at area intersections along this stretch of SR 99….
Also released are the technical appendices below.
Since 1997 TCAG has been monitoring 50 area intersections per year as part of the Tulare Intersection Monitoring Program, which is now a part of the Congestion Management Process. The program assists local agencies in identifying signalized and stop-controlled intersections that operate at unacceptable levels of service (LOS) and makes recommendations for improved service through mitigation.
