Since 1997 TCAG has been monitoring 50 area intersections per year as part of the Tulare Intersection Monitoring Program, which is now a part of the Congestion Management Process. The program assists local agencies in identifying signalized and stop-controlled intersections that operate at unacceptable levels of service (LOS) and makes recommendations for improved service through mitigation.
The Cartmill Interchange Ribbon Cutting is coming soon! The Cartmill interchange will expand the Cartmill street to six lanes and prepare the interchange for future development in the area, and better connect the area to the Outlet malls nearby. The project was funded by Tulare City’s proposition 1B ($7 million) and Tulare County’s Measure R ($15.3 million), and was designed by OMNI-MEANS in Visalia.
This bicycle map offers complete streets information including highway lane information, shoulder info, terrain, speed limits, & bicycle routes including state highway and interstate options, covering Tulare, Madera, Kings, Fresno, and Kern counties.
