Thank you to everyone who entered the 7th annual Make a Difference in Air Quality Essay and Poster Contest. We received 539 entries this year. The 2009 contest winners are located here >

Essay Contest Requirements

One  $500 grand prize winner will be awarded in each category. One winner each in grades K-3, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12 will be awarded a $250 gift card in each category.
Write a one-to-two-page essay telling us how you’ve made a difference in air quality by doing things like biking, walking, skateboarding or conserving energy.

Poster Contest Requirements

Design and draw a poster on an 8-1/2” x 11” white paper showing how you’ve made a difference in air quality by doing things like carpooling, scootering or planting trees. (Be sure to turn your paper on its side.)
