Traffic Count

The purpose of the TCAG Regional Traffic Count Book program is to provide accessible traffic count information in a database format. Data is collected from many sources incuding:

  • 2001 intersection turning movement counts
  • 1997 through 2000 intersection turning movement counts from TCAG's past transportation monitoring reports
  • Traffic impact studies
  • Environmental documents
  • Project Study Reports (PSR)
  • Major Investment Studies (MIS)
  • Caltrans count book
  • Tulare County Traffic Volumes and Axle Classification report
  • Traffic counts from the regional traffic model validation/calibration
  • Circulation elements from local agencies
  • City of Visalia traffic count database

Get Acrobat Reader The following data base includes existing average daily traffic (ADT) for the last 10 years and peak hour taffic volumes from the last five years. All reports that are generated by this database can be easily-printed in order to provide a hard copy for the user.
