Tulare County Transit Systems are advised on transit happenings and opportunities by the Social Service Technical Advisory Council. For information on the Social Service Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) visit the SSTAC webpage.

Each year, TCAG allocates Local Transportation Funds (LTF) and State Transit Assistance (STA) funds to member agencies in proportion to their respective populations as set forth in the Transportation Development Act (TDA).

Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds are also available to member agencies. FTA 5307 funds are available for the Visalia and Porterville urbanized areas (which include Farmersville and Exeter), and FTA 5311 funds are received for rural areas, such as the cities of Lindsay, Tulare, Dinuba, Woodlake, and the County of Tulare.Voice your opinion

Voice your opinion

The annual Unmet Transit Needs comment period is held throughout the month of March. The annual Unmet Transit Needs public hearing, held the third Monday in March, is your chance to voice opinions before the TCAG Board on transit systems countywide.
